What is NoMac?

NoMac provides cloud-hosted virtual machines that operate macOS on Apple silicon, tailored specifically for developers working on iOS and macOS applications. Each user session is fully equipped with macOS, Xcode, and the required iOS simulator runtimes, along with vital development tools, facilitating smooth building, testing, and simulation processes without the need for a physical Mac device. Developers can conveniently manage their sessions through various interfaces, including a browser desktop interface, Command Line Interface (CLI), SSH, HTTPS API, or even a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Their workflows cover a range of activities such as app development, simulator operations, capturing screenshots, application signing, and preparing builds for TestFlight. Each session runs on a fresh virtual machine that is eliminated after use, guaranteeing a pristine working environment for every new session. Users have the option to retain their projects and build caches across sessions by utilizing an account drive for storage. NoMac specifically serves iOS and macOS developers, accommodating teams that use coding agents requiring Xcode, including those developing from Windows or Linux platforms. The pricing model operates on a per-minute basis, charging from prepaid credits with a minimum billing increment of one minute and a maximum expenditure limit per session. This approach enables developers to manage their resources effectively and keep costs in check while ensuring they have continuous access to essential development tools. Consequently, NoMac stands as a flexible and economical solution for developers seeking to streamline their workflow in a cloud-based environment.

What is Macswarm?

Macswarm provides dedicated macOS Pods powered by Apple silicon, specifically tailored for Claude Code and Codex, featuring the latest versions of Xcode, iOS runtimes, pre-booted Simulators, and XcodeBuildMCP. These Pods enable coding agents to effectively build iOS applications, perform testing, and capture screenshots without interruption. Each Pod supports two to three active agents working within distinct git worktrees, while their workloads are coordinated by a two-slot xcodebuild queue. New Pods are instantiated for each session and are decommissioned after use, ensuring secure operations with outbound-only networking and no inbound SSH access. Users incur charges based on Pod-hour consumption, with precise metering conducted per second, and idle Pods are programmed to cease operations after ten minutes of inactivity. Macswarm operates in both the EU (Netherlands) and US regions, catering to a wide range of developers. The complimentary plan offers three Pod-hours for a single use, while the Pro plan is available for $99 monthly, providing 300 Pod-hours, and the Team plan is priced at $399 per month, granting access to 1,500 Pod-hours. Furthermore, early-access accounts are onboarded in the order of registration, facilitating a seamless integration for newcomers. This comprehensive system empowers developers to scale their projects while ensuring adaptability and productivity in the app development lifecycle, making it an invaluable resource for modern software development.
