What is Graphite?

Graphite is an open-source graphics editor currently in its alpha phase, providing a distinctive workflow that supports fully nondestructive editing by combining a layer-based compositing system with a procedural design engine that leverages nodes. Initially focused on vector editing, Graphite has evolved into an all-encompassing graphics suite that resembles a game engine more than traditional creative software, seamlessly integrating its Rust-based Graphene core with user-friendly tools for various creative tasks, such as vector graphics, raster image manipulation, animation, layout design, motion graphics, and visual effects compositing. Its cutting-edge editing framework includes a continuous node graph, allowing for virtually unlimited scalability for effects like boolean operations, procedural patterns, and fractals, while also offering artists intuitive layer stacks and node-controlled layers. Currently, Graphite functions as a lightweight offline web application, making it ideal for non-destructive workflows in areas such as technical illustrations, magazine layouts, and generative art projects, appealing to a broad spectrum of creative professionals. This adaptability not only enhances the creative process but also positions Graphite as a compelling tool for digital artists and designers looking to explore new possibilities in their work.

What is Filmmaker Pro?

Develop and manage an endless array of projects while adeptly organizing and sharing the essential assets through an intuitive file management system. This application is compatible with 4K video on various devices including the iPhone SE and newer models, as well as the iPad Pro, and it allows for an unlimited number of video clips, audio tracks, voiceovers, and text overlays. The timeline is organized with color coding, making it easy to identify and handle different assets effectively. Users can seamlessly move assets using a long-press gesture, which streamlines the overall workflow. Furthermore, there is considerable flexibility in choosing the export frame rate and aspect ratio for compositions, along with options to customize the background color. The application also offers fade-in and fade-out effects for compositions, and an autosave feature ensures that no edits are lost during the creative process. Users can adjust video playback speeds for dramatic slow-motion or fast-motion effects, and make video grading adjustments including brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, and white balance to refine their visuals. With a selection of 96 unique thematic music tracks, users can easily enhance their projects with a fitting soundtrack. Additionally, intuitive pan, pinch, and rotate gestures empower users to adjust the positioning, size, and orientation of text elements with ease. This extensive array of features guarantees that users possess all the necessary tools to produce videos of a professional standard while enjoying a user-friendly experience. Ultimately, the application's robust capabilities cater to both amateur and seasoned creators, making it an invaluable asset for video production.
