What is ORMIT™-OpenJava?

ORMIT™, OpenJava is a contemporary, open-source tool designed to facilitate the migration of Oracle Forms from Java, Angular, or React environments. This tool effectively transforms Oracle Forms and Reports into a software stack compatible with open-source JEE, utilizing a Java backend alongside either an Angular or React frontend. Notably, it enables organizations to operate both their legacy systems and new implementations concurrently throughout the migration process. This dual-operation capability ensures a seamless and gradual transition for companies. Additionally, ORMIT™, OpenJava automates the conversion of PL/SQL code into Java backend code, further simplifying the migration journey for developers.

What is ORMIT™ DB?

ORMIT™ DB is the sole automated tool designed for upgrading Oracle Databases across all versions, enabling seamless transitions from any prior version to the latest release. This solution is fully compatible with all Oracle Database versions, even those that are no longer supported. By utilizing ORMIT-DB, organizations can achieve migrations or upgrades in a timeframe that is 50% to 75% shorter compared to traditional manual methods. Additionally, ORMIT™ DB effectively mitigates the risks typically linked to manual upgrades or migrations, ensuring a smoother process for users. With this tool, upgrading your Oracle Database has never been easier or more reliable.

What is ORMIT™-Analyzer?

The Oracle Forms Code Analyzer Tool, known as ORMIT-Analyzer, addresses the issue of outdated documentation that often plagues customized Oracle Forms and Reports applications after years of maintenance and updates. With its Oracle validation, this advanced tool not only helps users comprehend existing development patterns but also identifies areas where the source code can be simplified. By focusing on the separation of key architectural components such as User Interface, Business Logic, and Database, ORMIT-Analyzer aims to provide in-depth insights into both challenges and opportunities for achieving a "future-ready software architecture." Additionally, it serves as a valuable resource for planning potential application modernization initiatives, ensuring that prior investments in business logic are safeguarded while transitioning to a more sustainable and contemporary software framework. This makes ORMIT-Analyzer essential for organizations looking to enhance their software systems’ long-term viability.

What is Amazon Aurora?

Amazon Aurora is a cloud-native relational database designed to work seamlessly with both MySQL and PostgreSQL, offering the high performance and reliability typically associated with traditional enterprise databases while also providing the cost-effectiveness and simplicity of open-source solutions. Its performance is notably superior, achieving speeds up to five times faster than standard MySQL databases and three times faster than standard PostgreSQL databases. Moreover, it combines the security, availability, and reliability expected from commercial databases, all at a remarkably lower price point—specifically, only one-tenth of the cost. Managed entirely by the Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Aurora streamlines operations by automating critical tasks such as hardware provisioning, database configuration, patch management, and backup processes. This database features a fault-tolerant storage architecture that can automatically scale to support database instances as large as 64TB. Additionally, Amazon Aurora enhances performance and availability through capabilities like up to 15 low-latency read replicas, point-in-time recovery, continuous backups to Amazon S3, and data replication across three separate Availability Zones, all of which improve data resilience and accessibility. These comprehensive features not only make Amazon Aurora an attractive option for businesses aiming to harness the cloud for their database requirements but also ensure they can do so while enjoying exceptional performance and security measures. Ultimately, adopting Amazon Aurora can lead to reduced operational overhead and greater focus on innovation.
