What is OpenCL?

OpenCL, short for Open Computing Language, is a cost-free and open standard that facilitates parallel programming on a range of platforms, allowing developers to optimize computational tasks through the use of various processors, including CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, and FPGAs, on systems such as supercomputers, cloud platforms, personal computers, mobile devices, and embedded systems. What is MPI for Python (mpi4py)?
