What is PhotoViewerPro?

Discover a comprehensive full-screen viewer that boasts impressive photo zoom capabilities and a customizable image magnifier. This tool is equipped with a variety of powerful image editing features that enable users to resize, resample, rotate, flip, crop, sharpen, blur, and modify lighting, color, curves, and levels settings. You can choose from eleven unique resampling algorithms for adjusting image sizes. Moreover, it includes numerous color effects, allowing users to alter images with grayscale, sepia, and negative filters, as well as fine-tune the red, green, and blue balances. Creative options are expanded with special effects such as annotations, drop shadows, framing, bump mapping, sketching, oil painting, and lens effects. Users also have the flexibility to draw texts, lines, highlights, rectangles, ovals, and callout shapes directly onto their images. An array of advanced tools like the clone stamp and healing brush facilitate smooth editing, while the efficient red-eye removal feature ensures a natural look. The inclusion of multi-level undo and redo capabilities makes it straightforward to reverse edits. Additionally, the software provides one-touch display options for best fit and actual size views, along with extensive image management features that include tagging and drag-and-drop folder operations. A histogram display paired with a color counter supports precise color analysis, and users can compare multiple images side-by-side—up to four simultaneously—to effectively sift through less appealing options. Furthermore, image EXIF metadata is supported, giving users valuable insights into captured details. Altogether, these features culminate in a highly engaging and versatile photo editing experience, making it suitable for both amateurs and professionals alike.

What is ImageJ?

You can create selections in a variety of shapes, such as rectangular, elliptical, or freeform, alongside line and point selections. These selections can be adjusted and the wand tool can be employed for automatic generation. In addition, users have the ability to draw, fill, clear, filter, or measure selections efficiently. Selections are also capable of being saved and transferred across different images, which enhances the flexibility of workflow. The toolset provides a comprehensive array of image processing functionalities, including smoothing, sharpening, edge detection, median filtering, and thresholding, catering to both 8-bit grayscale and RGB color images. Users can dynamically modify brightness and contrast levels for images in 8, 16, and 32-bit formats, making adjustments straightforward. Furthermore, precise measurements can be taken for area, mean values, standard deviation, as well as minimum and maximum values for either the selected area or the entire image. Lengths and angles can also be measured, with the option to use real-world units such as millimeters. Calibration is made easy using density standards, and the software is capable of generating detailed histograms and profile plots for comprehensive data analysis. This extensive feature set not only enhances functionality but also ensures users have the necessary tools for precise image analysis and editing tasks, making it an essential asset in any digital imaging workflow.
