What is Pillar Security?

Pillar Security operates as a holistic AI security platform aimed at protecting the agentic workforce throughout the complete AI lifecycle, from initial development through deployment and into continuous runtime safeguarding. By embedding business context in its processes of discovery, testing, and protection, the platform guarantees that security intelligence builds up across a variety of AI applications, which include agents, models, prompts, frameworks, tools, MCP servers, skills, coding agents, and environments such as SaaS and cloud. This capability allows organizations to effectively pinpoint and manage their AI assets, even those that are unauthorized or categorized as shadow AI, while assessing risks tied to the supply chain and their overall security framework. Furthermore, it outlines the attack surfaces linked to agentic systems and assesses critical vulnerabilities that require attention. Through its AI Security Posture Management functionalities, Pillar meticulously analyzes interconnected agents, tools, permissions, data sources, prompts, models, and supply chain components to uncover high-risk pathways, policy violations, misconfigurations, and potential threats from coding agents, thereby deepening the understanding of the ramifications when any single element is compromised. Ultimately, Pillar Security not only enables organizations to uphold a strong security framework but also equips them to adeptly navigate the multifaceted landscape of AI technology, fostering a culture of proactive security management that evolves alongside emerging threats.

What is Opal Zero?

Opal Zero acts as a governance platform designed for AI agents, offering just-in-time access management by systematically cataloging each agent, associating them with a responsible owner, assessing access requests, and executing decisions via the existing MCP gateway. This all-encompassing solution enables organizations to sustain a cohesive inventory across diverse identity providers and AI platforms such as Okta, Entra, Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock AgentCore, and Cursor, thereby clarifying the permissions assigned to each agent and their corresponding ownership. The Risk Center identifies access that could be misaligned with its intended application, unassigned, or excessively broad, directing these issues to the relevant owner while providing immediate options for corrective action. Paladin evaluates requests against predefined policies and contextual information, identifies the most limited access pathways, respects ownership boundaries, and explains the justification for each decision made. By scrutinizing actual user behavior, Policy Insights reveals cases of unnecessary access and recommends improvements to access policies, aiming for a proactive approach rather than reactive fixes. Gateway Enforcement guarantees that sanctioned access decisions are executed as precise, temporary policies within the current gateway framework, thereby cultivating a more secure and well-organized structure for managing AI agents. Additionally, this platform's robust analytics capabilities help organizations to adapt and refine their governance strategies continuously, ensuring that they remain aligned with evolving operational needs.
