What is Ploy?

Ploy is an identity governance and access intelligence platform built to automate repetitive identity and access management work across an organization. The platform brings together identity providers, HR systems, applications, groups, users, owners, and access grants in a live identity graph. This centralized view helps teams identify risky permissions, missing application owners, stale access, stalled reviews, and other identity governance issues. Ploy includes Luna, an AI agent that can execute identity workflows rather than simply provide recommendations or answer questions. Luna can handle access reviews, employee onboarding and offboarding, role changes, access requests, stale-access remediation, and application ownership workflows. For each job, the agent can gather context, follow policy, contact the appropriate people, perform approved changes, validate the result, and retain evidence of what happened. A policy engine allows organizations to define which actions may happen automatically, which require approval, and which should remain recommendations. Access reviews can be prepared and routed automatically, with Luna following up on outstanding decisions and revoking permissions that reviewers reject. Workflow automation can make changes directly in connected systems while keeping each action attributable and traceable. Ploy also maintains timestamped audit evidence that can support compliance reporting, investigations, and access governance reviews. Ploy is designed for organizations that want to continuously govern access while reducing manual tickets, spreadsheets, reviewer chasing, and repetitive identity administration.

What is Opal Security?

Opal Security is an identity governance platform that helps organizations manage and enforce access decisions across human and non-human identities. The platform is designed to govern employees, contractors, AI agents, copilots, service accounts, applications, and infrastructure from a unified control layer. Opal evaluates access requests against policy and risk signals to help organizations enforce least privilege and reduce unnecessary standing access. Its Paladin AI engine can review requests, make or recommend decisions, explain the reasoning behind those decisions, and escalate uncertain cases to human reviewers. Just-in-time access enables privileged permissions to be granted for a limited period and then revoked automatically once the work is complete. AI-assisted access reviews analyze individual entitlements and available evidence to help reviewers determine whether permissions should be maintained or removed. Opal also extends governance to AI agents and autonomous systems by controlling what those identities can view, access, and execute. The platform maintains searchable audit records of access changes and administrative actions so organizations can trace who or what received access, when it changed, and how the decision was made. Audit data can be exported to external systems such as SIEM platforms or Amazon S3 to support compliance and security operations. Opal can run as a hosted service or be deployed in customer-controlled environments including virtual machines and Kubernetes, supporting organizations with strict infrastructure and regulatory requirements. Enterprise security features include SOC 2 Type 2 certification, annual penetration testing, monthly vulnerability scanning, encryption in transit and at rest, US and EU hosting options, and support for GDPR and CCPA requirements.
