What is PolyWorks|Modeler?

PolyWorks|Modelerâ„¢ serves as a comprehensive software solution tailored for reverse engineering, facilitating the extraction of top-tier CAD elements, including curves, surfaces, parametric sketches, and prismatic features from polygonal models of scanned components, which can subsequently underpin your sophisticated CAD modeling endeavors. What is COLMAP?

COLMAP is a flexible tool designed for Structure-from-Motion (SfM) and Multi-View Stereo (MVS), offering users both graphical and command-line interfaces. The software boasts a comprehensive set of features suitable for reconstructing both ordered and unordered image sets. It is distributed under the new BSD license, with the latest source code available on GitHub. In line with academic integrity, users are encouraged to acknowledge the original authors of the algorithms incorporated into COLMAP, as detailed in the documentation. For easy access, pre-compiled binaries for Windows come with executables for both interfaces. To start the COLMAP GUI, users can either double-click the COLMAP.bat batch script or run it from the Windows command shell or PowerShell.
