What is PowerBox Pro?

The PowerBox Pro is a sturdy outdoor router that boasts five Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which deliver PoE output, all encased in a weather-resistant housing. This device is specifically tailored for outdoor use, allowing for secure installation on towers or in various external locations. It features passive PoE input and can provide either passive or 802.3af/at PoE output, which allows ports 2-5 to power compatible PoE devices using the same voltage as the router itself, thus minimizing the clutter of power adapters and cables. By accepting an input voltage ranging from 48-57V, it effectively supports devices that are compatible with 802.3at and af mode B. Additionally, the router is equipped with an SFP port to facilitate enhanced optical fiber connectivity. Not only is it compact and budget-friendly, but it is also powered by a robust 800MHz CPU that efficiently manages all advanced RouterOS configurations. The operating system comes preinstalled and licensed, meaning that users won't need to purchase it separately, allowing the device to be operational right out of the box. With its array of features, the PowerBox Pro emerges as an excellent networking solution for those who require effectiveness and reliability in outdoor settings, making it a prime choice for various applications.
