CadVex is CNC quoting and manufacturing estimating software that helps machine shops convert STEP files and engineering drawings into detailed, editable cost estimates. The software analyzes 3D part geometry to detect manufacturable features, production operations, and assumptions that affect the expected cost of producing a component. Its cost analysis breaks estimates into factors such as starting material and stock, material quantity, scrap assumptions, setup, programming, machining operations, finishing, marking, inspection, and outside processes.
