What is Pullflow?

Collaborate effortlessly with your team and AI while retaining your favorite tools, minimizing disruptions and context-switching. Pullflow integrates user identities and code-review workflows across platforms like GitHub, Slack, and VS Code, facilitating seamless discussions regardless of where you are. You can start tasks from any platform and smoothly transition back to your projects. With its integrations into GitHub Actions, external CI/CD systems, and various GitHub apps, Pullflow offers an all-encompassing view of your pull requests, covering everything from drafts and reviews to testing and deployment. Let Pullflow streamline your tasks with just a chat mention or a quick keyboard shortcut in your IDE, allowing you to request reviews, manage labels, give feedback, approve changes, and undertake other activities without the need to switch over to GitHub. This efficient method not only boosts productivity but also helps maintain your concentration, making teamwork more effective and enjoyable. Ultimately, Pullflow empowers you to focus on your work while enhancing the collaborative experience.

What is MergeMe?

MergeMe seamlessly integrates GitHub pull requests and GitLab merge requests into Slack, offering an efficient notification card that continuously updates for each PR/MR. Unlike the official Slack integrations for GitHub or GitLab that create a new message for every event, MergeMe refreshes a single message as its status changes—from opened to under review to approved and finally merged. During the review process, any comments are shown as replies in a thread under the notification card, which helps keep all feedback neatly organized and easily accessible. Additionally, MergeMe supports various code hosting services, such as GitHub, GitLab, and even self-hosted GitLab instances. Users have the ability to connect multiple git sources within a single Slack workspace, allowing them to assign each repository or project to specific Slack channels. It also maps usernames from GitHub and GitLab to Slack users to ensure effective notifications via @mentions for reviewers, while employing label-based routing to sort bugs, features, and documentation efforts into different channels. The setup is designed to be user-friendly and quick, taking approximately five minutes; users simply need to connect their Slack account, link their git provider through OAuth, a GitHub App, or a webhook URL for self-hosted setups, and configure the desired channel mappings. Importantly, MergeMe operates exclusively on webhook payloads, ensuring that it does not access any private source code. For users on the Free Hobby plan, the service offers one channel mapping and accommodates up to five users, making it a fantastic entry point for teams looking to improve their development processes and collaboration. Furthermore, as teams grow and require more mappings and users, they can easily transition to higher-tier plans to unlock additional features and enhancements.
