What is QuickBuild?

QuickBuild 12.0 is packed with numerous features such as OpenID single sign-on support, the option to launch build agents on-demand via Google Cloud Platform, and the customization of Kubernetes build agent resources, along with compatibility for Mac M1 systems. It also provides configuration tree states for every gadget, the ability to import and export dashboards, and integrates with GitHub organizational webhooks. Users can oversee server-wide properties, upload files through a RESTful API, and make use of RESTful authentication utilizing access tokens. Furthermore, it enables proof builds to confirm changes on the server before they are committed or pushed, while allowing concurrent builds to provide rapid feedback. Builds can be initiated by commits, scheduled tasks, or the finishing of dependencies, with real-time progress and log reporting. Users are able to monitor and trigger builds, receiving notifications through a tray monitor without needing to access a browser, ensuring they remain updated. In addition, failure notifications are dispatched to users responsible for commits, which fosters a sense of accountability. The platform also features customizable statistics charts that present key performance indicators and includes an automated cleanup strategy to reduce disk space usage. With these advancements, QuickBuild 12.0 significantly boosts the productivity and effectiveness of build processes for development teams, making it an invaluable tool in their workflows.
