What is Mediatrix Cloud Sentinel?

The Mediatrix Sentinel CS functions as an advanced Session Border Controller (SBC) specifically designed for small to medium-sized enterprises, and it can be implemented in both on-site and cloud-based virtual environments. This SBC utilizes the same Microsoft Teams-certified DGW software as its physical models, ensuring seamless integration and support for Direct Routing features. Key functionalities include SIP normalization, network demarcation, survivability, and a suite of security measures such as TLS/SRTP encryption alongside SIP-based firewalls aimed at preventing DoS attacks. Capable of handling over 6,000 concurrent sessions and supporting more than 15,000 registered users without requiring additional licensing, the Sentinel CS presents a robust solution for communication needs.
