What is RunVouch?

Distinct from conventional monitors that merely alert users about a job's status, RunVouch elevates the process by verifying the actual completion of tasks. It diligently documents essential details such as the start and finish times, costs incurred, token usage, and tool calls, while also ensuring that the requisite proof of task completion is available, notifying users if any discrepancies arise. This comprehensive system can pinpoint a variety of problems, including instances where a job never initiated, delays in execution, non-zero exit statuses, endless retry cycles, runs that go beyond their budget limits, and even those tricky tasks that seem to have succeeded without generating any outputs. Each finalized run is hashed into a leaf structure, and daily leaves are consolidated into a Merkle root that links to the previous day's root and is timestamped on the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps. This guarantees that reports are tamper-proof and remain unchanged by anyone, including the developers themselves, allowing for verification of a sealed run directly through a browser without requiring an account. Users can even alter a field to observe the hashes invalidate, showcasing the system's transparency. The client is a self-contained Python script that functions independently of any external libraries, designed to wrap any command while maintaining a fail-open approach to ensure uninterrupted job monitoring. It is compatible with a wide array of platforms, such as Claude Code, OpenClaw, n8n, GitHub Actions, cron, systemd, Slack, and MCP. With an appealing offer of free usage available for up to 20 agents, this tool is distributed under the MIT license and can be easily self-hosted, providing versatile solutions to different monitoring requirements. Furthermore, its capability to integrate smoothly with various existing tools significantly enhances its utility for users seeking dependable task execution verification. Ultimately, RunVouch stands out as a powerful asset for anyone needing robust monitoring solutions.

What is Eloipool?

Eloipool is a rapid Bitcoin pool server crafted in Python3, aimed at facilitating merged mining via the setworkaux/gotwork RPC interface. Nonetheless, it lacks longpolling features for auxiliary chains, which leads to the generation of empty and longpoll merkle roots only when required, thus avoiding unnecessary regeneration during CoinbaseAux changes. As a result, shares found by miners utilizing getwork after a longpoll often turn stale on supplementary chains, although this problem does not affect GBT or stratum miners. Eloipool was the pioneer in implementing getmemorypool for its internal work generation; however, PSJ and ecoinpool have adopted similar strategies and made early announcements regarding their implementations. The server also boasts an optimized merkle tree generator that executes the fewest steps necessary to quickly produce multiple merkle trees. In addition, it keeps a fixed-size buffer stocked with current merkle trees to ensure they are instantly available for dispatch upon receiving getwork requests. Moreover, it creates a buffer of clear merkle trees, which include only the subsidy and are ready to be sent immediately in response to longpoll requests. This thoughtful design not only boosts overall performance but also guarantees that miners face minimal delays while submitting their shares, ultimately leading to a smoother mining experience. Furthermore, the efficiency of Eloipool's architecture positions it as a competitive option for miners seeking reliable and expedient service.
