What is SAP Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence?

Harness the capabilities of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) by connecting the four fundamental elements of manufacturing—people, materials, processes, and machinery—with your wider supply chain. By doing so, you can gain critical manufacturing insights and achieve the transparency needed for real-time operations, facilitating a smooth integration of your production activities with other business functions. This strategy not only improves operational efficiency but also encourages teamwork and communication among all tiers of the supply chain. Ultimately, this interconnected approach leads to more informed decision-making and a more agile response to market demands.

What is Epicor Advanced MES?

Epicor Advanced MES helps manufacturers improve production performance through real-time monitoring of plant operations, equipment, and manufacturing processes. Designed for plastic molders, repetitive manufacturers, and assembly operations involving multiple machines, the solution provides the visibility needed to better understand and manage shop floor performance. With access to real-time production and machine information, manufacturers can identify resource constraints, uncover additional capacity, track downtime, and reduce scrap and material waste. Advanced MES supports operational improvements by providing timely information on production status and equipment performance. The solution includes real-time scheduling, process monitoring, production visibility, and performance reporting capabilities. Users can review operational metrics and production details to support informed decision-making, while maintenance teams can access machine condition information to help plan preventive maintenance activities. Advanced MES also integrates with ERP, accounting, manufacturing estimating, and other business systems to help connect production activities with broader manufacturing operations.
