What is Settle3?

Perform a detailed evaluation of soil settlement, taking into account immediate, primary consolidation, and secondary settlement for various structures such as embankments, foundations, and surface loads. To simplify the creation of soil profiles, utilize RSLog to integrate CPT boreholes along with classified soil data, or use the section creator feature for efficient model generation. This approach allows for greater flexibility in applying ground improvement methods like soil replacement, vibro-compaction, or stone columns, which can be customized for different staging at various depths. Additionally, a sensitivity analysis can be executed for settlement evaluations that factor in ground improvement attributes, including stiffness, top depth, bottom depth, and spacing. You also have the option to conduct CPT and Liquefaction analyses separately or concurrently, with the CPT analysis yielding 29 unique parameter results. Moreover, Liquefaction evaluations can be conducted using data from Standard Penetration Tests (SPT), Cone Penetration Tests (CPT), or Shear Wave Velocity (VST) analyses, offering a flexible strategy for assessing soil performance during seismic events. By employing this comprehensive approach, engineers can gain an in-depth understanding of soil behavior, ultimately leading to more informed and effective engineering decisions. Such a robust analysis not only aids in predicting settlement but also enhances the overall safety and reliability of the structures involved.

What is RSData?

Achieve a thorough comprehension of rock and soil materials by investigating their strength characteristics and constitutive behaviors, which will help in defining strength envelopes and determining various material parameters. Utilize constitutive models, including NorSand and Modified Cam Clay, to delve deeply into the stress-strain relationships present in your soil materials. A significant benefit of RSData is its integration with RocProp, a standalone application that contains a comprehensive database of intact rock properties. Take advantage of the diverse technical features that RSData provides for your analytical needs. Modify the strength criteria of your rock and the observed stress-strain behaviors using data gathered from both field and laboratory tests, ensuring to compare these with numerical simulations of the same tests. Furthermore, RSData facilitates the importation of laboratory tests and the visualization of stress-strain paths for soils, enhancing clarity in your analyses. By comparing and calibrating material parameters, you can refine your insights, visualizing predicted constitutive behavior in conjunction with experimental data. Moreover, the flexibility of RSData allows for the application of various constitutive models to forecast results in standard laboratory tests, proving it to be an invaluable resource for material analysis and enhancing the understanding of how different materials respond under various conditions. This comprehensive approach ensures a robust framework for analyzing and predicting material behavior in real-world scenarios.
