What is ShelfPublisher?

ShelfPublisher is an innovative online platform tailored for authors who have completed their paperback manuscripts and are ready for publication. After gaining access to the service, authors can purchase a publishing slot for their book and upload the necessary interior PDF and cover files directly through the website. Following this, Orbita Media reviews the submissions, assigns an ISBN from their publisher block, and publishes the accepted titles under its own imprint. Additionally, the platform registers vital book metadata with bibliographic databases and oversees print-on-demand production, ensuring that the titles are distributed to over 50,000 bookstores across 18 different countries. Authors maintain their copyright while earning 30% of the net revenue from each book sold for single-slot titles, with select subscription options offering even more lucrative revenue shares. Quarterly sales reports keep authors informed about their book's performance, and each publishing slot remains active for a generous period of 36 months. This streamlined service eliminates the burdens of print runs, inventory costs, and additional ISBN fees, making it a practical choice for authors aiming to publish their work. By simplifying the complexities of the publishing process, ShelfPublisher allows authors to concentrate on their creative endeavors while efficiently handling the business side of book publishing, thus fostering a supportive environment for literary success.
