What is Access Bed Control?

The effective management of hospital beds relies on obtaining real-time insights into patient requirements and bed availability, coupled with strong collaboration among healthcare staff. Despite this necessity, many medium-sized hospitals continue to depend on outdated manual processes, which can result in a significant loss of available bed days each year. Access Bed Control (ABC) provides a centralized and current platform enabling hospital staff to efficiently address all bed management needs. By implementing Access Bed Control, the tedious process of making numerous interdepartmental phone calls is eliminated. This innovative system equips patient access personnel and the admissions team with crucial information needed to make strategic placement decisions.
