The extensive capabilities of the MMP software for MSCCS are categorized into two primary types of Software Modules, each containing a variety of standard NT components like libraries and building blocks: Mission Setup and Analysis Applications. Within this structure, the Scenario Definition and Pre-Mission Control Module empowers users to create a Range Abstraction Layer along with essential environmental data structures that accurately represent various entities engaged in a mission, including geographical terrain, sensors, projectiles, and environmental influences. This Range Abstraction Layer is vital for crafting precise mission scenarios, ensuring that users can effectively simulate and analyze diverse operational conditions.
