What is Stackscale?

Stackscale's Private Cloud seamlessly integrates a traditional environment characterized by strength and security with the dynamic and adaptable features of Public Cloud services. Our private cloud solutions leverage an extensive network alongside cutting-edge data centers located in Europe, complemented by our dedicated technical support team available around the clock. This combination ensures outstanding performance, high availability, and robust security. By integrating two full racks of networking equipment and servers into two nodes through network storage, we can achieve a remarkable reduction in power consumption of up to 95%. Designing a private cloud environment with Stackscale is straightforward, as there are significantly fewer variables to manage. Key design considerations include RAM and persistent storage, though it is crucial to prioritize factors such as IOPS, bandwidth, and CPU needs, which are typically maintained to prevent any bottlenecks. Our fully configurable bare-metal servers provide the same level of control as an in-house solution, allowing businesses to customize their infrastructure to meet specific needs effectively. Ultimately, Stackscale empowers organizations to harness the best of both worlds, ensuring they have a reliable and efficient cloud environment.

What is Oracle Bare Metal Servers?

Oracle's bare metal servers provide clients with a dedicated infrastructure that guarantees isolation, visibility, and control. These servers are engineered to support applications requiring significant processing power, capable of scaling up to an impressive 128 cores—the highest in the industry—alongside 2 TB of RAM and up to 1 PB of block storage. This extensive capability enables users to create powerful cloud environments on Oracle’s bare metal servers, delivering substantial performance improvements over other public cloud services and traditional on-premises solutions. The E4 series of compute instances features the most extensive bare metal option available, with 128 OCPUs and 2 TB of memory, making it ideal for a variety of enterprise applications that can seamlessly function on a single AMD-based instance. Additionally, bare metal servers excel in executing high-performance, latency-sensitive, specialized, and conventional workloads directly on dedicated hardware, akin to traditional on-premises setups. They are particularly well-suited for scenarios that require nonvirtualized environments, leading to significant workload performance optimization. Moreover, the robust capabilities and flexibility of Oracle's bare metal servers make them an attractive option for organizations aiming to elevate their computational abilities, ultimately driving innovation and efficiency in their operations. As businesses continue to evolve and demands for computational power increase, Oracle's offerings stand out in providing the necessary infrastructure to support these changes.
