What is SuperSplat?

SuperSplat stands out as the leading tool for editing and refining 3D Gaussian splats. Its intuitive interface comes with powerful selection tools that streamline the process of cleaning up your splats, making it user-friendly. Built on the sophisticated PlayCanvas engine runtime and leveraging the PCUI front-end framework, SuperSplat provides a lightweight and efficient visual editing space that operates entirely within a web browser. This accessibility eliminates the need for any downloads or installations, enhancing user convenience. It works flawlessly with the commonly used PLY file format, ensuring compatibility with any engine you prefer. The capabilities of the PlayCanvas engine allow it to handle even the most intricate 3D Gaussian splat scenes with ease. Users can effortlessly choose splats for deletion and can also move and rotate their scenes to suit their preferences. Moreover, you have the option to save your projects in PLY, compressed PLY, or SPLAT formats. 3D Gaussian splatting is an innovative approach for creating lifelike 3D scenes from photogrammetry; however, adjustments may be necessary for the best visual outcomes. Consequently, SuperSplat becomes an indispensable resource for artists and developers aiming to enhance their visual projects effectively. Its range of features not only improves workflow efficiency but also empowers users to achieve stunning results in their creative endeavors.

What is PhotoMesh?

PhotoMesh is a flexible photogrammetry software that converts aerial, drone, and ground-based images, videos, and LiDAR data into georeferenced 2D and 3D geospatial outputs. The application produces a range of deliverables, such as textured 3D meshes, Gaussian splatting models, point clouds, true orthophotos, and digital surface and terrain models. It features capabilities like aerotriangulation, ground control points, quality reporting, and alignment with existing 3D datasets or LiDAR, which is essential for conducting repeated surveys, detecting changes, mapping, engineering infrastructure, and inspecting assets. With the ability to handle large volumes of images, PhotoMesh can distribute project workloads across several fuser machines or utilize cloud resources, significantly boosting processing efficiency. The software accommodates various image formats, including RGB, multispectral, and thermal imagery. Outputs generated by PhotoMesh, such as 3DML, 3D Tiles, I3S/SLPK, LAS, and GeoTIFF, are perfectly suited for GIS applications and 3D visualization. Furthermore, the integration of REST APIs allows for automated production workflows and effective project queue management. While primarily designed for Windows, it also provides Linux support for fuser installations and includes a dedicated managed service for cloud processing, ensuring users have multiple options to meet their photogrammetry requirements. This versatility and range of features make PhotoMesh an indispensable asset for professionals in numerous fields aiming to elevate their geospatial analysis capabilities, ultimately driving better decision-making and project outcomes.
