Formdall acts as a backend service tailored for static websites, enabling users to effortlessly incorporate form capabilities without the hassle of developing their own endpoints; all that is required is a simple adjustment of one attribute to direct your HTML form's action to Formdall. There is no need for any SDKs, npm installations, or extra build steps, making it incredibly user-friendly. When submissions are made, they are validated according to a custom field schema defined by you for each form, ensuring spam is filtered out while securely archiving legitimate responses in an encrypted format. Notifications about these submissions can be sent in multiple ways: via email to you, an automatic response to the sender, a HMAC-signed webhook to your system, or any combination of these options. Inside your inbox, you can easily search submissions, export them in CSV format, and selectively delete entries whenever necessary. Privacy is a core aspect of our design, rather than just a marketing point; we operate from Germany and employ AES-256 encryption for data at rest, while IP addresses are maintained solely as daily rotating hashes. In addition, we use a self-hosted proof-of-work captcha instead of relying on reCAPTCHA, which means there’s no need for cookies, cookie consent banners, or data transfers to the U.S. Our data retention policies guarantee that information is physically purged daily, rather than merely relying on soft deletes. Formdall also supports MCP clients like Claude, Codex, and Cursor, which allows for the creation of forms and the direct integration of the generated code snippets into your project with ease.
