What is Synth?

Synth is a powerful open-source tool tailored for data-as-code, designed to streamline the creation of consistent and scalable datasets via a user-friendly command-line interface. This innovative tool allows users to generate precise and anonymized datasets that mimic production data, making it particularly useful for developing test data fixtures essential for development, testing, and continuous integration. It empowers developers to craft data narratives by specifying constraints, relationships, and semantics tailored to their unique needs. Moreover, Synth facilitates the seeding of both development and testing environments while ensuring that sensitive production data remains anonymized. With Synth, you can produce realistic datasets that align with your specific requirements. By utilizing a declarative configuration language, users can define their entire data model as code, enhancing clarity and maintainability. Additionally, it effectively imports data from various existing sources, allowing for the generation of accurate and adaptable data models. Supporting both semi-structured data and a diverse range of database types, Synth is compatible with SQL and NoSQL databases, making it a highly flexible solution. It also supports an extensive array of semantic types, such as credit card numbers and email addresses, providing comprehensive data generation capabilities. Ultimately, Synth emerges as an indispensable tool for anyone seeking to optimize their data generation processes efficiently, ensuring that the generated data meets their specific requirements while maintaining high standards of privacy and security.

What is Diva?

Diva captures the spirit of five decades of analog synthesis, featuring oscillators, filters, and envelopes that have been expertly modeled after some of the most celebrated monophonic and polyphonic synthesizers from history, ultimately providing an exceptional analog auditory experience. Far from being just a single synthesizer, it empowers users to either emulate a cherished classic or to ingeniously merge modules to craft a distinctive hybrid instrument. The sound produced is not only authentically rich but has also garnered accolades for its superior analog fidelity. Among its standout features are per-voice oscillator detuning and customizable modulation sources that offer enhanced versatility. The zero delay feedback (ZDF) filter design skillfully replicates the resonance traits of classic synthesizers, further elevating the overall sound quality. Additionally, it boasts three ADS(S)R envelope models inspired by legendary synth hardware, complete with keyboard following and velocity scaling functionalities. The host-syncable arpeggiator adds to its versatility with a continuous rate offset, adjustable swing, and a multitude of progression choices. Users can also explore two host-syncable LFOs equipped with various waveforms, restart capabilities, and phase controls for complex modulation effects. Moreover, two stereo effects slots are included, each featuring a chorus with three modes, a phaser with two modes, in addition to plate reverb, delay, and rotary speaker effects that expand the sound palette significantly. With this extensive array of features, Diva stands as an invaluable asset for both sound designers and musicians, allowing for limitless creativity and exploration in sound design. Whether one is seeking to recreate the past or push the boundaries of sonic innovation, Diva offers the tools needed to achieve those artistic visions.
