What is PACScribe?
PACScribe is a comprehensive cloud-based PACS imaging software developed to support clinicians, radiologists, and healthcare organizations in managing medical imaging workflows. The platform enables secure storage, viewing, and sharing of DICOM images through a web-based system that can be accessed from desktops, tablets, or mobile devices. PACScribe supports a wide range of imaging modalities including MRI, CT scans, X-rays, ultrasound imaging, and specialized diagnostic studies across multiple medical disciplines. Its built-in DICOM viewer allows clinicians to review scans in real time and collaborate with colleagues through secure image sharing. The system also provides advanced annotation tools that allow doctors to mark regions of interest, document observations, and track patient progress over time. PACScribe includes AI-powered analytics that generate structured imaging reports to help clinicians quickly interpret findings and support faster diagnostic decisions. The platform integrates with electronic health record systems such as Epic using HL7 and FHIR standards, enabling seamless synchronization between imaging data and patient health records. PACScribe also provides scalable cloud storage that can be deployed on major cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. Security is a major focus, with encrypted data storage and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR. The platform also supports secure cross-organization sharing, enabling specialists and external consultants to review imaging data remotely. By combining cloud infrastructure, AI-driven analysis, and healthcare system integration, PACScribe helps medical professionals improve diagnostic workflows and deliver faster, data-driven patient care.
