Terriqon vs. GoFormz

Terriqon serves as a platform specifically crafted for offline-first data collection in the field, featuring an integrated AI reporting capability. Field personnel can efficiently collect data on their mobile devices without a dependency on internet access, with submissions automatically syncing once connectivity is restored. The forms support various functionalities, including GPS data capture, photo uploads, skip logic, and calculations, and they allow for the direct import of pre-existing XLSForm files, which simplifies the transition for teams moving from SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox, or ODK by eliminating the need to recreate forms from the ground up. Unlike traditional field data tools that simply export raw data to business intelligence applications, Terriqon generates detailed narrative reports that analyze the collected data, focusing on elements such as project outcomes, operational efficiency, and reporting for donors and portfolios, all while implementing an approval workflow before any information is shared externally. The platform's role-based access controls ensure a clear distinction between organization administrators, managers, and field officers. Furthermore, it offers customizable terminology and report templates tailored to the unique needs of different organizations, enabling NGOs, conservation programs, construction crews, asset inspection teams, and research institutions to communicate effectively in their own specialized language and context. This customized approach not only promotes clarity but also enhances collaboration among various teams engaged in multiple projects, leading to more effective outcomes and stronger partnerships. By integrating these features, Terriqon positions itself as a versatile solution for diverse field data collection needs.

GoFormz boasts several patents for its innovative digitization technology, which includes a unique approach that maintains the aesthetic and functionality of traditional paper forms. Additionally, the platform offers a specialized viewing mode tailored for users on smaller devices, allowing seamless transitions between the original Form View and a List View. With no coding or IT expertise needed to begin, GoFormz prioritizes a user-friendly experience and continues to lead in user adoption rates. The robust form-building capabilities enable users to effortlessly design new forms, utilizing a simple drag-and-drop interface for elements like Signatures, Images, Barcodes, and Maps, while also incorporating Logic and Calculations. Users can complete forms remotely, even in offline scenarios, and upon completion, these forms are automatically saved in the GoFormz Cloud and sent to team members, clients, and integrated platforms, streamlining collaboration and productivity. This seamless integration of features not only enhances efficiency but also empowers teams to work more effectively, regardless of their location.
