What is ThreatPort?

ThreatPort is an all-encompassing cloud platform tailored for External Attack Surface Management (EASM). Users can kick off an extensive automated scanning process consisting of 9 phases just by inputting a domain, which includes subdomain enumeration through 28 distinct sources, scanning across more than 134 ports, and matching Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) with the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) and CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV). The platform also evaluates IP reputation using 19 threat intelligence feeds and inspects email security measures like SPF, DMARC, and DKIM. Furthermore, it features typosquatting detection, aligns with the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and monitors credentials on the dark web. Each scan provides a security score between 0 and 100 along with prioritized remediation steps, ensuring that users have clear guidance on addressing vulnerabilities. Automated weekly scans are part of the offering, alongside integration capabilities with platforms such as Slack, Teams, and Jira, making collaboration effortless. Reports generated from the scans are easily shareable, enhancing visibility and communication among teams. Remarkably, this solution eliminates the need for agents or intricate setups—users can simply enter a domain name, making it accessible and efficient for organizations to uphold strong security with minimal hassle. This user-friendly approach not only saves time but also enables businesses to swiftly adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats.

What is Censys?

Censys Attack Surface Management (ASM) focuses on uncovering previously undiscovered assets, encompassing a wide range from Internet services to cloud storage buckets, while meticulously assessing all publicly accessible assets for security and compliance concerns, regardless of their hosting environments. While cloud services significantly boost organizational innovation and agility, they also bring forth numerous security risks that can extend across various cloud projects and multiple service providers. This issue is exacerbated by the common practice of non-IT personnel creating unmanaged cloud accounts and services, resulting in notable blind spots for security teams to address. With Censys ASM, organizations are provided with comprehensive security visibility of their Internet assets, irrespective of their location or the accounts they are associated with. In addition to identifying unknown assets, Censys compiles an exhaustive inventory of all public-facing assets, identifies critical security vulnerabilities, and amplifies the effectiveness of existing security investments through targeted insights. Furthermore, the platform empowers organizations to uphold a proactive security strategy by continually monitoring and managing their diverse range of digital assets, ensuring they remain ahead of potential threats. This ongoing vigilance is crucial in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape.
