What is TimeClock Pearl?

The person responsible for TimeClock Pearl manages this website to cater to the numerous small businesses that have adopted TimeClock Pearl since its launch in 2005. The first commercial release was introduced by Affordable Business Software during the summer of that year. Businesses could choose to either purchase and download the Kiosk Edition, which allowed employees to clock in and out on a single workstation using a version of FileMaker Runtime, or the Network Edition, which was set up on one computer for multiple users to access from different workstations via a FileMaker Pro connection. A significant change occurred when Affinity Software LLC transferred its TimeClock Pearl software to a newly formed company, Affinity Systems, Inc. The original developer of the software continued with Affinity Systems, Inc. to guarantee ongoing assistance for TimeClock Pearl users while also working on new timekeeping and payroll interface solutions for their parent company's clientele. This transition not only represented a critical juncture in the software’s development but also facilitated the introduction of improved features and support specifically designed to meet the requirements of small businesses. As a result, users have benefited from a more robust and adaptable product tailored to their operational needs.
