What is Trac9 Informatics?

Clients participate in an in-depth weekly evaluation that assesses multiple factors essential for achieving lasting sobriety. By employing a unique algorithm called Trac9 Informatics, these assessments are combined with demographic data and risk ratios to predict the likelihood of each client experiencing a relapse. As clients progress through their treatment, Trac9 Informatics meticulously tracks these critical components, allowing for customized care that aligns with their specific requirements. The system also monitors clinical symptoms closely to ensure a steady reduction in pathology during the treatment process, addressing more than just cravings. Trac9 Informatics examines various indicators, including anxiety, depression, stress levels, verbal expressions of craving, and visual stimuli that may trigger cravings. This method stands apart from traditional outcome measurement systems that often concentrate exclusively on pathology; instead, it provides a more rounded perspective on the client's overall condition. Moreover, acknowledging resilience factors is crucial for evaluating the enhancement of client health and general well-being. This extensive monitoring not only enhances the understanding of symptoms but also plays a significant role in fostering a robust foundation for ongoing recovery. Ultimately, such a thorough approach ensures that clients are better equipped to navigate their journey towards sobriety successfully.

What is T.O.V.A.?

The T.O.V.A. provides healthcare professionals with objective data for evaluating attention and inhibitory control. Notably, the visual segment of the T.O.V.A. aids in diagnosing and assessing treatment for attention-related conditions, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In a similar vein, the auditory section is also vital for identifying attention deficits, particularly in ADHD cases. It is crucial that qualified professionals analyze the results from the T.O.V.A. to ensure accurate interpretation. The design of the test offers cultural and linguistic neutrality, featuring a sufficiently extensive computerized assessment that does not require left/right discrimination or sequencing tasks. Using a specialized microswitch, the test captures responses to both visual and auditory stimuli with incredible accuracy (±1 ms). The T.O.V.A. evaluates several key factors, such as variability in response time (consistency), speed of response, impulsivity (commissions), and levels of focus and vigilance (omissions). These findings are subsequently compared against a well-established normative sample, accounting for age and gender, as well as a cohort of individuals with a confirmed ADHD diagnosis, allowing for a thorough evaluation. Additionally, this comprehensive approach fosters a better understanding of a patient's attention capabilities, ultimately enhancing the treatment and management of attention disorders. By utilizing such detailed metrics, practitioners can tailor interventions more effectively to meet the unique needs of each individual.
