What is Triple Cheese?

Triple Cheese is an exceptional freeware synthesizer that distinguishes itself by employing comb filters for sound generation, setting it apart from the traditional reliance on oscillators or wavetables. It features a series of three comb filter modules, each offering eight unique modes, which significantly broadens the sound design possibilities for users. This synthesizer supports diverse playing styles, including the ability to play up to 16 voices in polyphonic mode, while also providing duophonic, monophonic, and legato options with adjustable portamento time for enhanced expressiveness. Furthermore, it includes two ADSR envelopes with customizable sustain stages and two LFOs that sync with the host, one being a standard LFO and the other known as "vibrator," which adds both delay and amplitude modulation capabilities. A versatile VCA with amplitude modulation and pan controls further amplifies its functionality. In addition, Triple Cheese comes with five built-in effects—chorus, flanger, phaser, delay, and reverb—that enrich its sonic spectrum. The range of modulation sources is extensive, featuring wheels, velocity, pressure, breath, key follow, and random inputs, which enable complex performance techniques. The user interface is designed to be scalable between 70% and 200%, as well as skinnable, allowing users to tailor its appearance to their preferences. This combination of features not only enhances its usability but also makes Triple Cheese an enticing choice for sound designers at all levels, eager to push the boundaries of their creative explorations. Ultimately, its unique approach and comprehensive capabilities make it an intriguing tool for crafting innovative soundscapes.

What is SyndtSphere?

Introducing SyndtSphere, a groundbreaking spherical adaptation of our polyphonic synthesizer Syndt, which provides a novel approach to exploring soundscapes. With a focus on a minimalist aesthetic, this device allows users to engage in a distinctive form of "surfing" through presets, where all parameters dynamically shift in response to the closeness of various settings. By rotating the sphere, which boasts over 70 meticulously crafted states, users can easily locate their perfect sound without the hassle of adjusting individual parameters. In addition to the sphere functionality, the instrument features a ping-pong delay and a variety of global settings that amplify sound manipulation capabilities. This state-of-the-art interface facilitates effortless exploration of more than 70 professionally designed presets, ensuring a rich sonic palette. Users will need macOS 10.9 or later, Windows 7 (SP1) or later, and a compatible 64-bit AU or VST host, with mobile device compatibility requiring iOS 9.3 or above for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Each node on the sphere represents a preset, and as users glide between these nodes, the sound parameters transition fluidly based on the proximity of neighboring nodes, resulting in a captivating and immersive audio journey. Furthermore, the intuitive design encourages users to experiment and discover new sound combinations, making it an indispensable tool for both novice and experienced musicians alike.
