What is Verifykator?

Verifykator is an online platform tailored for the verification of businesses and ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Business (KYB) regulations, specifically targeting Polish companies through their NIP, or tax identification number. This service compiles extensive company and registration details from reliable sources like KRS, CEIDG, REGON, the VAT White List, and EU VIES, offering a free basic assessment of certain registry and VAT data. In addition, its advanced AMLA report combines insights from 18 varied sources, examining elements such as ownership structures, sanctions, lists of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), financial disclosures, bankruptcy statuses, regulatory notifications, negative media reports, and other public records. The risk evaluation is conducted across five specific domains, utilizing a rule-based scoring system that transparently outlines the sources of its information, and is available in both PDF and online formats. Organizations can utilize this comprehensive tool to improve their due diligence processes for partners, streamline supplier onboarding, conduct in-depth AML screenings, and execute detailed risk assessments for entities within Poland. As a result, Verifykator proves to be an essential resource for businesses aiming to effectively navigate compliance requirements and reduce financial risks in their operations, ultimately promoting a safer business environment.

What is Variance?

Variance is an AI-powered compliance investigation platform that helps financial institutions automate customer due diligence and related financial crime review processes. Its AI agents can perform investigative work across L1 through L3 reviews and are designed to replicate existing analyst workflows with greater consistency and speed. The system can start from an alert or case and gather supporting evidence from structured databases, external records, public sources, and unstructured content. Agents can search company registries, sanctions lists, websites, adverse media sources, transaction systems, and other investigative repositories as part of a case. Variance can also interpret scanned documents, handwritten material, images, PDFs, and multilingual records to extract information that might otherwise require manual review. The platform structures this evidence into case-level insights that analysts can review rather than presenting results as disconnected search outputs. Every decision is accompanied by a traceable evidence trail, cited sources, timestamps, and audit-ready documentation. This approach is intended to improve explainability for compliance teams while also supporting regulatory and audit requirements. Variance states that its agents can gather 90% of the evidence needed for a case and shorten investigative cycles by up to 10 times. The platform can also help reduce false positives by applying contextual research to alerts before they are escalated for additional review. Variance supports use cases including Know Your Customer, Know Your Business, transaction monitoring, and customer due diligence for institutions operating under financial crime and regulatory requirements.
