What is Virtual REX?

Electromagnetic sensors consist of two primary elements: a "front-end" that produces and detects electromagnetic waves through a subsystem called the Receiver/Exciter (REX), and a "back-end" tasked with processing both signal and data, typically managed by software. Each subsystem must be developed separately before they can be integrated effectively. The creation of a fully functional sensor grows more intricate and time-consuming due to unexpected obstacles encountered during integration testing. This intricacy primarily arises from the dependencies between subsystems that are challenging to test when developed individually. Consequently, any required software updates, configuration changes, adjustments to waveforms, or upgrades to technology may lead to significantly increased costs, as they usually necessitate on-site verification with the actual hardware of the front-end. To alleviate these challenges, the Virtual Receiver/Exciter (VREX) employs a simulated front-end, which enhances the efficiency of the testing and integration process. By utilizing a virtual model, developers can proactively identify and rectify potential integration challenges much earlier in the development timeline, ultimately leading to a more streamlined workflow and reduced costs in the long run. This proactive approach not only saves time but also enhances the overall quality of the final product.

What is Creator?

Emerging from OpenFlight, which is widely recognized as the standard in the realm of 3D simulation models, Creator is the groundbreaking application designed specifically for crafting optimized 3D models tailored for virtual settings. This software is uniquely focused on simulation applications and serves as the standard for generating high-quality, real-time 3D models. Content creators are often challenged by the demand for a growing number of models that must feature increased detail, improved realism, and enhanced performance. With a robust set of tools, creators can build models from scratch, make alterations to existing ones, or refine objects for use in simulations that depend on sensor technology. Creator provides users with complete control over the modeling process, enabling the rapid production of highly optimized and physically accurate 3D models across various levels of detail. The platform permits extensive interaction with models, allowing adjustments from the database level down to individual vertex properties, which significantly accelerates development and enhances control over modeling tasks. Consequently, this level of flexibility empowers users to cultivate both efficiency and creativity in their endeavors, ultimately enriching the quality of virtual experiences they can offer. As a result, Creator not only meets the evolving needs of content creators but also sets a new standard in the industry for 3D modeling.
