What is Vital?

Elevate your wavetables by delving into the spectral oscillator warping capability found in Vital, which alters a waveform's harmonics to create a diverse range of distinctive shapes and sound textures from a simple audio input. With the ability to convert your own audio samples into wavetables using Vital's pitch-splice or vocoding converter, the creative possibilities are virtually limitless. The integrated wavetable editor further enhances your experience by allowing you to craft wavetables from the ground up or generate them from text-based inputs. Designed as a visually engaging synthesizer, Vital captivates users with animated controls, filter responses, waveforms, smooth LFOs, oscilloscopes, spectrograms, and various other visual tools. All animations run fluidly at 60 frames per second and are optimized for GPU use, freeing up your CPU for dedicated audio processing tasks.
