What is Warestack?

Warestack is a cutting-edge platform powered by AI that focuses on enhancing release security by seamlessly integrating with your GitHub organization and implementing customized, context-aware guardrails at each stage of the development lifecycle. Users can express their protection protocols using simple language—for instance, requiring approvals for any pull requests that aren’t hotfixes or banning deployments on Fridays—while Warestack automatically recognizes or blocks high-risk actions and monitors activities like pull requests, issues, deployments, and workflow executions in real-time, all displayed in a unified dashboard. Additionally, the platform is compatible with widely-used tools such as GitHub, Slack, and Linear, delivering smart alerts and notifications, along with one-click access to audit logs and reports tailored to meet SOC-2 and compliance standards. Moreover, Warestack can easily adjust to diverse teams and repositories by applying scoped rules and role-based enforcement, utilizing a transparent open-source rule engine known as Watchflow that simplifies policy creation. This flexibility allows organizations to uphold rigorous security and compliance levels in their development environments while tailoring their protection strategies to fit their specific needs. As a result, teams can work more efficiently, knowing their processes are safeguarded against potential risks.

What is Norma?

Norma systematically verifies code generated by AI against a defined set of guidelines, consistently yielding the same results. This verification takes place in two separate environments: Livecheck, which evaluates individual files or code snippets upon requests from editors like Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or VS Code, and Full Scan, which performs an exhaustive examination of an entire GitHub or Bitbucket repository, discerning the technology stack and frameworks even when a configuration file is missing, all while prioritizing issues based on their severity and offering essential context for resolution. The rules are evaluated through static analysis, ensuring consistent results across multiple runs. These guidelines are based on SOLID design principles and specific conventions for diverse technology stacks, with the capability to deactivate those that do not apply. The system's coverage spans various programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, PHP, Java, Node, React, and Supabase. Furthermore, the MCP server offers a variety of features, including link_repository, get_rulesets, get_rules_for_ruleset, live_check, get_open_issues, and register_applied_actions, all protected by OAuth and cataloged on the Official MCP Registry. This comprehensive framework empowers developers to uphold high code quality while easily adapting to the unique requirements of different projects, leading to improved collaboration and efficiency. Ultimately, such a structured approach fosters a more reliable coding environment.
