What is Warp Factories?

Warp Factories is an innovative cloud platform aimed at software engineering teams, providing them the ability to delegate mundane coding and repository tasks to AI agents. Users have the capability to create factories that can handle workflows from various platforms such as GitHub, Linear, Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, GitLab, and Azure DevOps, as well as run agent sessions in cloud environments and review code changes via pull requests. These factories can be tailored with particular instructions, tools, models, and agent frameworks like Claude Code and Codex, while also supporting continuous engineering activities through scheduled or event-driven workflows. Teams are equipped to monitor execution sessions, manage access rights, and choose between Warp-hosted or on-premise execution setups. This comprehensive solution is specifically designed for software developers and engineering teams aiming to optimize code upkeep, swiftly address issues, and boost feature development alongside other repository tasks. By leveraging this platform, teams can redirect their efforts towards creativity and innovation, as intelligent agents efficiently take care of routine responsibilities. Additionally, the customizable nature of Warp Factories allows for seamless integration with existing tools, enhancing overall productivity within the engineering workflow.

What is Cosmos?

Cosmos by Augment Code is an AI agent orchestration platform that helps software engineering organizations automate and manage development activities across multiple teams, repositories, and environments. The platform coordinates specialized AI agents that perform tasks involving software implementation, code review, testing, vulnerability remediation, incident investigation, and development workflow management. Its Expert system allows organizations to configure reusable agents with defined instructions, capabilities, tools, execution environments, and access permissions. Cosmos includes a Context Engine that provides agents with codebase intelligence by identifying relevant files, dependencies, architectural relationships, and existing implementation patterns. The platform supports automated workflows initiated by repository events, project management updates, monitoring alerts, scheduled tasks, and custom webhooks. Its ticket-to-pull-request workflows can investigate assigned issues, generate code changes, run verification procedures, and prepare modifications for engineering review. Automated code review capabilities use specialized agents to assess pull requests for correctness, implementation risks, and issues requiring human judgment. Cosmos provides isolated virtual machines and supports execution on managed cloud infrastructure, self-hosted machines, and supported customer environments. Shared organizational memory allows agents to retain reusable knowledge, reference previous workflow outcomes, and apply updated instructions across future executions. Governance capabilities include human-in-the-loop approval checkpoints, versioned workflows, execution auditing, access controls, and configurable spending limits for automated operations. Integrations with GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Linear, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Model Context Protocol tools enable organizations to connect agent workflows with their existing development infrastructure.
