Wash-Dry-Fold POS vs. Liberty Touch Control

Wash-Dry-Fold POS is a specialized point-of-sale system designed specifically for laundry service businesses, including wash-dry-fold services, pickup and delivery options, and commercial laundry accounts. It is particularly suitable for laundromats that also handle dry cleaning, as it allows users to manage, price, and track all orders seamlessly from a single counter. Each order is assigned a barcoded ticket, and the system features a tracking board that monitors the process from drop-off to pick-up, complete with the ability to attach specific notes to each order. Customer accounts are maintained to record individual histories and preferences, while commercial clients are billed on a monthly basis. Each attendant can log in with their own credentials, enabling owners to monitor sales, voids, discounts, and labor across multiple locations. However, since it does not support garment-level barcode tagging or conveyor management, businesses focusing exclusively on dry cleaning might prefer a dedicated dry-cleaning system. For laundromats or laundry services that wish to incorporate dry-cleaning drop-off, this POS system consolidates everything into one manageable platform.

Wash-Dry-Fold POS is a specialized cloud-based point-of-sale solution designed specifically for laundromats, as opposed to being a repurposed retail system. Developed by the same team behind Liberty Laundry in Tulsa, this platform has been operational in actual laundromat environments since 2016 and boasts over 1,300 installations. It efficiently manages wash-dry-fold orders at the counter, featuring an integrated scale, barcode scanning, and capabilities for printing receipts and labels. The system also supports card transactions, retail sales, promotional discounts, gift cards, and loyalty programs. Each staff member is provided with a unique login, allowing for the monitoring of voids, discounts, and cash drawer counts to help owners identify any cash variances. The software is compatible with various devices, including Windows, Mac, iPads, iPhones, Android phones, and Chromebooks, and it enables management of multiple locations under a single account. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with existing machines and card systems from brands such as Speed Queen, Laundroworks, ESD, FasCard, LaundryCard, and SpyderWash. Comprehensive training and support services are offered, without the commitment of a long-term contract.
