What is Yandex Certificate Manager?

You have the option to either create or import TLS certificates and keep track of their validity through the management console. It's quite straightforward to set up automatic retrieval and renewal of Let’s Encrypt certificates, as long as you can confirm your domain ownership. Furthermore, you can manually upload certificates from other certification authorities to be used within Yandex Cloud. By choosing certificates from the Yandex Certificate Manager, you can activate HTTPS access for your static websites. It is crucial to utilize domains where you have validated rights when working with the API, since a certificate linked to the domain will allow for a secure TLS connection. After you upload or update certificates, the modifications will be applied across all resources at once. When creating a certificate, there are several verification methods to choose from, but for Let’s Encrypt certificates, you only need to verify domain ownership. Importantly, the Certificate Manager does not check domain rights for certificates that are uploaded by users. This efficient process not only boosts security but also guarantees that your web services are consistently available to users. Additionally, maintaining valid certificates is essential for upholding the trustworthiness of your online presence.

What is QCecuring?

QCecuring's SSL Certificate Lifecycle Management serves as a robust enterprise solution designed to automate the discovery, issuance, renewal, rotation, and monitoring of SSL and TLS certificates in both hybrid and cloud environments. By centralizing certificate visibility and machine identities, this solution eradicates fragmented manual workflows, resulting in a thorough inventory that features expiry alerts, ownership tracking, and compliance with established policies. The platform adeptly locates certificates through network scans, API integrations, and lightweight agents deployed in diverse environments, such as public and private Certificate Authorities, servers, load balancers, appliances, and cloud services. With its automated workflows for renewal and rotation, it significantly reduces the chances of service interruptions caused by expired or neglected certificates. Moreover, QCecuring integrates effortlessly with IT service management (ITSM), security information and event management (SIEM), orchestration tools, and DevSecOps pipelines, thereby boosting operational efficiency while strengthening cryptographic governance. The implementation of role-based access controls further ensures that the processes for issuance, renewal, and revocation remain secure and efficient. This thorough strategy not only elevates security standards but also simplifies the overall management of digital certificates throughout the organization, enhancing both operational effectiveness and compliance. Ultimately, QCecuring provides peace of mind by safeguarding against potential vulnerabilities linked to certificate mismanagement.
