What is bspwm?

bspwm is a tiling window manager that represents windows as leaves within a complete binary tree architecture. It operates exclusively by responding to X events and messages sent through a dedicated communication socket. The tool bspc plays a crucial role in transmitting messages to this socket. Notably, bspwm does not handle keyboard or mouse input directly, which necessitates the use of an external program like sxhkd to translate user actions into bspc commands. Each monitor showcases only the tree that corresponds to the currently active desktop, allowing users to view just one desktop's structure at any given moment. This arrangement effectively partitions a monitor's rectangular space into smaller, rectangular sections that represent different windows. As a result, users can navigate their workspace with great efficiency, fostering a clean and organized environment. This unique design enhances productivity by allowing users to focus on one task at a time without distractions.

What is MultiMac?

MultiMac is a native macOS application that enables users to control multiple Macs with a single keyboard and mouse over a shared local network. By simply moving the cursor across screen edges, users can effortlessly switch between connected computers, while customizable clipboard settings facilitate the sharing of text and images. This application does not require users to have shared Apple accounts and allows for tailored access controls on each device. The Premium version of MultiMac introduces advanced functionalities, including screen sharing, access to remote application windows, and file and folder transfers; users can try these features for 30 days before needing a Premium subscription, although basic functionalities like keyboard, mouse, and clipboard sharing remain free. MultiMac is designed to work with both Intel and Apple silicon Macs running macOS 12.3 or later. Furthermore, users can opt for a one-time purchase of a lifetime Premium license, which provides uninterrupted access to enhanced features without ongoing fees. This capability makes MultiMac a practical choice for anyone seeking efficient connectivity between various macOS devices. With its ease of use and comprehensive features, it stands out as a valuable tool for multitasking across multiple computers.
