What is dpCom?

Digpro’s dpCom for Fiber Networks is a versatile management and information system specifically designed for fiber networks, leveraging cutting-edge GIS technology to support telecom operators throughout the entire lifecycle of fiber optic infrastructure, including planning, designing, construction, operation, and maintenance, all within a single cohesive software solution. The platform delivers in-depth insights into fiber networks, offering analytical tools that empower users to analyze, query, and interpret complex topology data—such as endpoints, splices, capacities, and service paths—through multiple viewpoints. Additionally, it streamlines the network construction process by automatically generating interconnected networks, thereby enhancing overall efficiency. Beyond these functionalities, dpCom features crucial operational tools that assist in managing faults and outages, simplifying customer connection workflows, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. A mobile client capability further empowers field engineers by providing them with real-time access and the option to make modifications while on-site. Furthermore, the system integrates operational reliability features that classify network components and evaluate their effects on users, ensuring a strong and dependable management experience for fiber networks. This comprehensive approach not only enhances operational efficiency but also significantly improves service quality for end users.

What is RB2011iLS-IN?

The RB2011iLS is designed with a sturdy metal casing and comes equipped with five standard Ethernet ports and five Gigabit Ethernet ports, an SFP cage for flexibility, and Power over Ethernet functionality available on port 10, all managed by a 600MHz CPU and supported by 64MB of RAM running RouterOS Level 4. This model stands out as the first in its family to feature an SFP cage, making it particularly suitable for Fiber To The Home (FTTH) applications. With a total of 11 ports, it offers a Gigabit SFP cage alongside five Gigabit Ethernet ports that can seamlessly connect, serving as an affordable solution for fiber-to-copper conversion while also including five additional Fast Ethernet ports. The device can be powered through either a dedicated power jack or via Power over Ethernet, but users should be aware that SFP transceivers are sold separately. The RB2011iLS supports any 1.25G SFP transceivers compliant with the SFF committee standards, but it is important to note that it does not accommodate Passive Optical Network (PON) setups. For optimal results, MikroTik's SFP modules, such as the S-85DLC05D, S-31DLC20D, and S-35/53LC20D, are suggested for use, though they are not included with the device. This networking solution, powered by the high-performance Atheros 600MHz 74K MIPS processor, is versatile enough to handle various networking demands and lays a robust groundwork for effective data transmission, making it a valuable asset for both residential and commercial setups. Its combination of features and performance capabilities makes the RB2011iLS a preferred choice among users looking for reliable networking equipment.
