What is macOS Mojave?

macOS Mojave, also referred to as version 10.14, is the fifteenth version of macOS, which was formerly known as OS X, and it functions as the operating system for a variety of Apple Macintosh computers, including both desktops and laptops, as well as servers. This particular release is notable as the third one following the shift from the OS X title to the macOS designation. For users wishing to make audio calls, access to a built-in or external microphone is essential, along with a stable broadband Internet connection to ensure clear communication. When it comes to video calls, users must have either a built-in FaceTime camera, an iSight camera (which can be built-in or external), or a USB video class (UVC) camera, coupled with a dependable broadband Internet connection. Moreover, to take advantage of iCloud services, devices must adhere to certain specifications, which include having iOS 5 or newer for iPhone models from the 3GS onward, as well as compatible devices like the iPod touch (3rd generation and newer), iPad Pro, iPad Air or more recent models, and iPad mini or later versions. For Mac computers, the requirement is to run OS X Lion 10.7.5 or newer, while PCs should operate on Windows 7 or 8, needing either Outlook 2007 or a modern web browser for managing email, contacts, and calendars. As a result, these specifications are designed to help users effectively connect and fully utilize the diverse functionalities that macOS Mojave provides. Additionally, keeping these requirements in mind can enhance the overall user experience and ensure compatibility across various devices and applications.

What is Aurio?

Aurio is an advanced macOS application that aims to remove background noise from a microphone in real-time, sending the improved audio through a virtual input device called Aurio Microphone. This configuration allows users to easily choose the Aurio Microphone input across various compatible applications for tasks like calls, recordings, or streaming, guaranteeing that the same high-quality microphone audio is accessible on multiple platforms. The application works seamlessly with a Mac's built-in microphone, USB or XLR audio interfaces, and Bluetooth headsets, while also offering customizable noise-cancellation intensity, an A/B audio preview feature, and a handy menu-bar toggle for on/off functionality. Audio processing is performed locally on Apple silicon Macs, which means it can operate offline without needing an internet connection. Aurio is particularly beneficial for Mac users who regularly participate in calls, record audio, or stream in noisy environments where sounds from fans, traffic, or keyboards could hinder clarity. It requires macOS 13.3 or later and is specifically tailored for Apple silicon Macs, making it crucial for users to possess the right hardware as it does not support Intel Macs. By focusing on enhancing audio quality, Aurio delivers a professional enhancement to any audio interaction on supported devices, making it an essential tool for anyone looking to improve their communication clarity. The application's user-friendly interface ensures that even those less technically inclined can easily navigate its features and maximize their audio quality.
