What is pylo?

Pylo operates as a backend-as-a-service solution tailored for teams focused on developing software applications and managing internal business processes. Its user-friendly visual admin interface allows teams to construct models for entities, fields, enums, and relationships, while Pylo simultaneously produces a GraphQL API and generates TypeScript types aligned with the defined schema. Developers utilize the Next.js and Node SDKs to efficiently query, filter, sort, paginate, and perform operations such as upserting and bulk writing data; the automatically generated types help detect any schema modifications during the build phase. The web-based admin panel further enables operations teams to manage and oversee records with ease. Equipped with a wealth of built-in features, Pylo includes user session management, login options via Google and Microsoft, API token management, file upload capabilities, event analytics, customizable workflows, embeddable forms, webhooks, and both data import and export functionalities. Additionally, a remote MCP server allows compatible AI clients to retrieve information while respecting user permissions, ensuring that any suggested changes require human approval before they are enacted. This multifaceted platform not only simplifies development workflows but also fosters teamwork and collaboration by integrating a variety of essential tools into one seamless environment, making it a valuable asset for any development team. In doing so, it creates a more efficient and cohesive working atmosphere that enhances productivity and innovation.

What is Prisma ORM?

Prisma ORM stands out as a TypeScript ORM designed for AI coding agents as much as for engineers: schema as a single source of truth agents can inspect, typed queries that catch mistakes before runtime, and migration workflows that keep agent-driven changes reviewable. Teams start with the open-source ORM, then grow into Prisma’s managed stack when they need hosted data and apps. Prisma Postgres delivers production PostgreSQL without ops overhead; Prisma Compute runs TypeScript services beside that database. One company, three layers: agent-friendly ORM, managed Postgres, and app hosting.
