What is robotron*Daphne?

The Robotron*Daphne system has made it possible to create a comprehensive database that streamlines the recording and management of large collections. This innovative system is built on a foundation of simplicity and exceptional performance, effectively reflecting the complexities of modern applications. Its intuitive interface allows staff to swiftly and accurately document items, which significantly boosts overall productivity. In the current landscape, it is crucial to not only organize and display collections in a contemporary fashion but also to connect knowledge with broader public networks, a standard that is increasingly expected. Additionally, the task of conducting provenance research is fraught with difficulties, often requiring considerable resources to reliably determine the origins of artworks and cultural artifacts. This emphasis on both efficiency and meticulousness empowers institutions to preserve their collections with integrity while adhering to modern standards. Furthermore, the ability to manage these collections effectively allows institutions to engage more meaningfully with their audiences.

What is Museum Archive?

We are excited to announce the Museum Archive software initiative, designed to enable museums, historical societies, educational institutions, nonprofits, and other organizations to manage their collections effectively while avoiding the burden of costly database management systems. This initiative seeks to provide high-quality, free database software tailored for groups that operate on limited budgets. Available at no cost, you can further support this museum project by spreading the word about this invaluable resource. In addition, I am offering a comprehensive book focused on database design, and as a special incentive, I am also providing a free Premium edition of the software to everyone since November 2018. The proceeds from the book will be allocated to future improvements of the application, ensuring it remains a relevant and effective tool for its users. By promoting this initiative, you play a crucial role in empowering organizations to preserve, curate, and exhibit their significant collections for future generations. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the realm of cultural preservation and education.
