What is websockets?

The AsyncAPI Specification provides a standardized, protocol-agnostic framework that defines message-based or event-driven APIs. By leveraging the AsyncAPI document, users—both human and machine—can understand the capabilities of an event-driven API without the need to sift through source code, access extensive documentation, or monitor network traffic. This specification facilitates the creation of API structures and formats, detailing the channels that users can subscribe to and the message formats they will receive. Additionally, users are empowered to create, validate, and update their AsyncAPI documents to align with the latest version or to view them in a more user-friendly format using the AsyncAPI Studio, which enhances the overall experience and accessibility.
