    A powerful platform for developing business applications

    Summary

    Our company uses 1С:Enterprsise platform to develop local applications for accounting and sales in various Asian markets (Mongolia, Vietnam, and others). The platform allowed us to implement solutions working in the cloud and on-premise, which is important for developing economies. Also, the cost of licenses is much lower than Western counterparts.
    Developers took little time to explore the platform and begin developing ready-made applications.

    Speeds up and standardizes business application development, customization, and support.
    Allows power users to implement specific business processes.
    Provides complete openness of UI and solution code, which allows better understanding and modification of business processes.

    Negative

    A small number of specialists in the United States, but it is a matter of time.

    The advantages of this system include speed of configuration and implementation. Setting up 1C for your business processes is very simple. Open source allows the IT professional to make the necessary changes to the program.

    One of the undoubted advantages is the good integration of the 1C platform with any other systems: CRM, CMS and others - with all these systems 1C can exchange data. The advantages of 1C also need to add the ability to work in the cloud and on mobile devices.

    Our company currently use 1C for events business automation.
    We used to develop and maintain our own solutions before. Switching to 1C saved us a lot of money and developers-hours. Minor features can be done without any developers attention and that makes project support much more comfortable.
