Unreliable Service, Misleading Features, and Billing Nightmares

    Date: Apr 16 2025
    Summary

I took a chance on AxVoice, thinking it would be a solid VoIP solution, but it turned into a disaster. I paid for a full year upfront, yet after three months, my account was suspended due to a bogus claim of “failure to pay”—even though my payment had already cleared.

    Technical & Service Issues
    Let’s talk about service quality:

Calls drop after 15 minutes, making it impractical for anything but the shortest conversations.

There’s a 10-second delay before calls even begin to ring, which is incredibly annoying.

Their "live chat support" is a lie—clicking on it just redirects you back to their site. The only contact method is a webform, which they never respond to.

    Billing & Consumer Red Flags
Beyond the lack of functionality, their billing practices are shady. Canceling the service resulted in a partial refund, and they kept charging my credit card afterward. I had to block future transactions through my bank. Checking their BBB rating, I found multiple unresolved complaints, confirming questionable business practices.

    Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a reliable VoIP provider, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. AxVoice’s technical failures, lack of support, and shady billing tactics make them an easy "avoid" for anyone in need of stable communication tools.

    Positive

Decent Call Quality (When It Works)
    Easy Installation & Setup
Voicemail -- Basic VoIP features are available, though reliability varies.

    Negative

Frequent Call Drops – Calls disconnect after 15 minutes, making the service unreliable.

Noticeable Call Delay – A 10-second lag before calls start ringing, which affects usability.

False Advertising – They claim to offer live chat support, but it does not exist—clicking the chat option redirects you back to their website.

Nonexistent Customer Service – No phone support, no chat, and emails/webforms go unanswered, leaving users with no way to resolve issues.

Unjustified Account Suspensions – Even if you pay upfront for a full year, they might suspend your service for “non-payment”, despite your balance being paid in full.

Refund Issues & Unauthorized Charges – Partial refunds at best, and continued attempts to charge your card, even after cancellation.

Poor BBB Rating & Unresolved Complaints – A history of ignored customer concerns, indicating questionable business practices.
