The deployment is easy and did not require any complex coding setup; rather, it can be easily initiated with simple plugins in Shopify, etc., and is very well customizable as per business requirements. The subscription is quite affordable and so preferred by the majority of businesses.

Can't rank the results by popularity or other indicator

AddSearch is providing our digital storefront in the financial services sector with the ability to provide search results in a visually appealing and easy to read and understand format. This helps our customers ensure that they can quickly and easily find what they are looking for and gives them comfort in seeing search results in a more typical retail (versus bank) layout.

After evaluating over a half a dozen search vendors, including: Clerk.io, Cludo, Elastic, Swifttype, HawkSearch, Algolia, AddSearch, SearchNode and Coveo, we decided to go with AddSearch. We chose AddSearch because they offered a comprehensive list of search features. specialize in federated search, provide options for personalization and support creation of UI. Their budget fell midway between the lowest and highest and they had the shortest implementation time for ease of integration.

We have had a few hiccups in technology; however, whenever we experienced search index or code issues, AddSearch's support team was quick to assist and helped us troubleshoot to resolve problems quickly.

We love AddSearch - it's our go-to solution for any client that wants to pay for premium search. Its performant, highly available, configurable but easy to install.

It's an extremely robust search solution that can also be turn key. That said, it also offers a full API interface and lots of control to be able to put the effort in to make the search experience very custom. Support is excellent: they are responsive and provide lots of avenues for help. They are also flexible - we were able to have our service customized for our needs by AddSearch Engineering which was a nice surprise given the scale AddSearch operates at.

A lower tier of pricing would be nice - perhaps one that only provides the "off the shelf" JS interface and limited customization? The $100/mo entry price point is a hard sell for small clients looking for an alternative to the extremely inexpensive Google Programmable Search Engine.

For our web site, the Essentials subscription gives us most everything we need at the moment. It is a great way to tailor general and specific keywords to certain pages.

The ability to 'pin' a page to a specific keyword, the analytics pages (even at the Essentials subscription it is wealth of information for us).

The documentation seems a bit light but once you get the hang of the process you are good to go.

Our experience with AddSearch has been great so far. We're using the service to index an archive of PDF files so that we can make them publicly searchable. It's enabled us to increase access to a collection of files that are otherwise difficult to search. The API is great, and allows us to easily build a custom front-end interface for our users.
