Agility Recovery - Zero Stars
Date: Aug 14 2025Summary1-Star Review: Deceptive Sales Tactics, Empty Promises, and Abysmal Customer Service.
Working with Agility Recovery has been the most frustrating and disappointing vendor experience I’ve ever had in 37 years of business. From the beginning, their sales team sold us a fantasy — not a service. We were PROMISED a comprehensive onboarding process that included a site survey to ensure compatibility and logistics for generator deployment. That never happened. No one ever showed up and wasted my time on SEVERAL occasions. They don’t even know if it’s physically possible to drop off or hook up a generator at our location, yet they had no issue taking our money.
The worst part? They misrepresented their capabilities entirely. We were told, point-blank, that in the event of an emergency, we’d be guaranteed a generator. Only after signing the contract did we discover that Agility is nothing more than a middleman, and that generator availability is not guaranteed at all. So in the middle of a disaster, we’re left hoping they can “maybe” find a third-party vendor to come through, and with the lack of a site survey no guarantee that it could even be hooked up. Also, they never once mention that if you do need a generator, on top of paying them you’ll have to rent the generator, pay for transportation to and from plus the cost of an electrician to hook it up…all of which you can do yourself without Agility Recovery.
Customer service has been non-existent. We’ve received no proactive communication, no updates, and no follow-through. Every time we reach out for clarity or next steps, we get generic responses and vague promises — just more of the same runaround. It took me a year and SEVERAL calls to get them to set up a site survey in which the electrician never showed, would reschedule and then not show again….what would happen in a real emergency
In short, Agility Recovery is all smoke and mirrors — they sell false security, offer no real assurance, and then disappear when it’s time to deliver. Save yourself the time, money, and stress. Look elsewhere for real disaster recovery support. I don’t think it’s even a real company!PositiveThey “might” be able to supply you a generator in the event of an emergency or natural disaster….but I doubt it

Would NOT recommend Agility
Date: Dec 13 2023SummaryAfter cancelling our service with Agility, we thought this situation was resolved..... We were wrong! As it turns out, Agility did NOT cancel our service when we cancelled. In fact, they INCREASED our monthly cost. Unfortunately, our finance department kept paying bills to Agility for months after we tried to cancel before we realized it. When I contacted them about it, they informed me that we did not cancel in time and we were auto-renewed for another year. Basically, when we gave them the opportunity to offer us what they had new, they dragged their feet to insure we did not cancel in time for it to take affect this year. We have paid them over $500 per month, for a service that is of no use to us. I don't understand how a company can, in good conscience, continue to charge us for something we cannot use. I would highly recommend avoiding the them. There are many other companies that would probably have better ethics for their customers.
PositiveAgility is an OK option for a company that is clueless and unprepared for Business continuity.
NegativeIn our case, we outgrew their options. We reached a point where we had everything they offered covered on our own. When we choose to cancel our service with Agility, we informed them MONTHS before our contract ended. At which point they asked for the opportunity to show us more of what they offer now. We agreed and had a couple of discussions to see if Agility had anything valuable to offer for us. At the end of these conversations, both the Agility rep and our team decided that they couldn't offer us anything of value. At which point we canceled our service with them.
