What is Altitude?
Altitude is a financial technology platform built to help businesses run accounts, cards, payments, treasury, and financial operations on stablecoin-first infrastructure. The platform is not a bank or digital asset custodian, but provides software that enables eligible businesses to establish self-custodial accounts and conduct transactions using stablecoins and supported payment rails. Altitude’s architecture centers on programmable treasury, where funds remain controlled by the customer and financial rules can be enforced through blockchain-based infrastructure. Businesses can use Altitude for multi-currency accounts, ACH, SEPA, Wire, SWIFT, stablecoin payments across multiple chains, FX between fiat and stablecoins, and exchange between currencies such as USD, EUR, MXN, BRL, and GBP. The platform also supports rewards on eligible balances, backed by short-term U.S. Treasuries and governed by applicable terms. Altitude Card provides virtual and physical business cards with expense management, receipt capture, transaction categorization, spend policies, card limits, and team-based controls. Its operations tools cover accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, vendor payments, payment approvals, accounting sync, and one ledger across fiat and stablecoin activity. Altitude agents add self-driving finance operations by executing payments based on rules, following up on invoices, tracking burn and runway, and handling workflows through agentic interfaces. Security and governance features include multi-party approvals, role-based access, granular permissions, code-enforced policies, programmable accounts, real-time verifiability, and audited reserve-backed stablecoin infrastructure through third-party issuers.
