What is AltonaLab?
AltonaLab offers an Internet of Things (IoT) software platform that includes a user-friendly and powerful CAD environment, perfect for designing intricate diagrams. To create a new connection, users need to click and hold the left mouse button on either an input or output of a block, drag it toward the corresponding input/output of another block, and then release the button at the desired location. Accessing the Parameters editor is straightforward; users can do this by double-clicking on a block or right-clicking it, leading to a display where each parameter is organized in individual rows. It's important to remember that the Name of each parameter must be unique within the diagram, as it significantly influences the overall dimensions. While the diagram is locked, the software utilizes this unique parameter to control the size, effectively hiding any blocks and contours that fall outside the confines of the visible area defined by LockedCanvasHeight and LockedCanvasWidth, ensuring that only relevant controls are presented. This feature not only improves the overall user experience but also facilitates a more efficient design process by reducing unnecessary visual distractions.
