Running a local means keeping track of members, employers, contracts, dues, grievances, and elections, often across spreadsheets and an aging database nobody wants to touch. eMembership replaces that patchwork with one system designed only for labor unions. Here's what changes for your staff. Dues posting handles classification-based rates and remittance from many employers. Grievance deadlines come from your contract, and reminders reach the assigned rep before a step is missed. Organizers track field activity in the same place staff log member calls. Meetings and Events, surveys, and DOL-compliant elections run inside the platform instead of a separate tool. Here's what changes for members. They download a native app for iOS or Android, or log in on the web, to pay dues, update contact details, and see where their issues stand. Fewer calls come into the hall. Getting started is predictable. A fixed-scope, fixed-price Discovery Project defines the work up front. Your records move into a parallel environment, your team checks them, and you go live only after sign-off. Support comes from a US-based team with defined response targets, and two updates a year are included. Cost stays predictable as you grow, because you pay for modules, not members or staff seats. That's why 55+ unions across the US and Canada, most of them locals, use eMembership. Labor union software, built for the way locals actually run.
