What is ArsClip?

ArsClip is a complimentary tool that operates as a clipboard manager, keeping a continuous watch over the clipboard and storing a history of copied items. It allows users to access and paste items via a popup window that can be activated in multiple ways, such as through hotkeys, a right-click hold, or a specific trigger window. Residing in the system tray, ArsClip consistently monitors for new clipboard entries. To retrieve an item that has been copied earlier, users simply need to activate the ArsClip popup and choose their desired clip from the list. Although there are various activation methods for the popup, the global hotkey option is the most commonly utilized, with the standard setting being CTRL+Shift+Z; however, users have the option to modify this as needed. Each time a user copies something to the Windows clipboard, ArsClip automatically saves a duplicate for its database. By default, the program retains the 15 most recent clips in its memory, and when this cap is reached, the oldest clip is moved to a separate Removed Clips cache for later access. This functionality makes ArsClip an essential application for anyone who frequently relies on clipboard operations in their daily tasks. Moreover, the ability to customize the hotkeys adds an extra layer of convenience, catering to individual user preferences.
